About this Event

Come join us for a night of learning about beekeeping and planting for pollinators! This will be a fun & informative event for bee and pollinator lovers. If you want to know how to help feed the bees in your own little (or not so little) plot of land, or are curious about the mysterious world of honeybees and beekeeping – or are even considering taking the plunge and becoming a beekeeper yourself – this is the workshop for you.

Urban Bee Supplies is joining the West Coast Seeds family and you couldn’t ask for a better match! The world of bees, seeds & flowers is closely related, and we wanted to celebrate our coming together with an event that also brings the worlds of beekeepers and plant growers together.

The event will feature talks by Master Beekeepers Lindsay Dault & Brian Campell. Lindsay Dault will be discussing the benefits of Urban Beekeeping and the basics of getting started in beekeeping, and Brian Campbell (who is also a Master Gardener) will be discussing gardening for pollinators. Afterwards we are going to have a demonstration on the inside of the hive and how it works, followed by a honey extraction demo and honey tasting! We will then open the floor for some Q&A.

Refreshments will be available. BONUS: to sweeten the deal even more, coupons will be provided to all attendees which confer 10% off both Urban Bee Supplies & West Coast Seeds products for a limited time.*

We look forward to seeing you there!
